Fröhliche Weihnachten! Selamat Hari Natal!

Das wünsche ich euch zwar nachträglich, aber von Herzen.
Weihnachten hier war ein bisschen anstrengend, so dass ich für Heimwehgedanken gar keine Zeit hatte.
Im Advent waren die Kinder aus Mamre fast jeden Tag zu Weihnachtsfeiern eingeladen, und ich durfte immer mitkommen. Weihnachtsfeier heißt meistens: Ein langer Gottesdienst und anschließend Essen. Die ersten drei Male ist das interessant, und auch die Kinder sind begeistert, sie können ihre Lieder vorsingen, ihre Tänze zeigen und stolz ihre auswendig gelernten Verse aufsagen. Sie sind auch echt gut. Aber beim vierten Mal wirds langweilig.
Der Höhepunkt war unsere eigene Weihnachtsfeier am 25., die auch wirklich schön geworden ist. Besonders auf "Change Kado", was man bei uns Wichteln nennen würde, hatten die Kinder sich gefreut. Die meißten haben Becher, Bilderrahmen, Wecker oder Federmappen bekommen und waren auch sehr glücklich damit. Nur Bernika war über ihr großes Holzkreuz nicht so begeistert, das ist so unpraktisch. Ich habe zwei schöne Tassen mit Bibelversen drauf bekommen. Außerdem hat es auch ein Päckchen von Papa schon hier hin geschafft.
Wir haben sogar Plätzchen gebacken, allerdings für Neujahr.  Und weil ich euch keine schicken kann, hier das Rezept, dann könnt ihrs selber ausprobieren:
1 1/2 kg Erdnüsse braten, aber ohne Öl! Anschließend mahlen, bis es nur noch feine Krümel sind. Dann mit
700 g Puderzucker,
2 kg Mehl und
1 1/2 l Öl verrühren,
5 Eier trennen, das Eiweiß hinzufügen, kneten.
Zu Kugeln formen und auf einem Blech verteilen, dann mit Eigelb bestreichen. In den Ofen schieben, backen bis sie fertig sind, aufpassen, das der Ofen nicht explodiert. Die fertigen Plätzchen so verstecken, das selbst die Ameisen sie bis Neujahr nicht finden.
Ich wünsche euch ein gesegnetes neues Jahr. Bei vielen von euch wird das mindestens genauso spannnend wie bei mir, glaube ich. Aber wenn ich über dieses, das vergangene Jahr nachdenke, hätte ich mir vorher wirklich keine Sorgen machen müssen. Das habe ich auf jeden Fall gelernt.
